Our league is a FUN softball league for Temple/Shul teams, Jewish Organizations and Jewish Individuals. Its like Jewish Little League for Adults.

Games played Sundays-10 game minimum and Playoffs for some..

Some CARPOOL travel might be required

PURPOSE:

The MJSL is an Adult Jewish Softball League for Jewish men and women generally 21+. There is no age limit.
(with a playing parent than 18 in College is acceptable, example Father/Son).

Teams and Individuals(placed on a team if no team) from Temples/Shuls/Jewish Org's are encouraged to play. League it is not considered a "coed league" but all welcome to play. The goal of the league is to foster ties within the Jewish Communities our teams/players reside in. This fosters comraderie, networking, and friendships through playing fun ( every now and than competitive) games

SPORTSMANSHIP IS THE #1 RULE

RULE REMINDERS SPRING 2012

NOTE; it is the Responsibility of all Captains and players to at least read our rules and have some level of understanding of them. Players sign for this on Waiver/Code of Conduct form.

THE FOLLOWING ARE DIRECTOR REMINDERS FOR ALL:.

Team forfeits = Maximum 2 only than removal. No grace time for forfeit & team that forfeited pays umpire fees before next game. Umps will be payed for any forfeited(rained out/suspended) games.

Any Ejection = any ejection for violation of Code of Conduct= immediate removal from league No discussions/suspensions.etc.
LET'S NOT HAVE THEM--SILENCE especially at 9am on a sunday morning sometimes can be best GOLDEN RULE.

BATS MUST BE ASA APPROVED/STAMPED

ASA BATS ONLY: Players caught using Illegal bats will be

1- EJECTED!!! (subject to League Suspension and Ejection.

2- A 2^ND OCCURANCE for anyone else on team = TEAM FORFEITS
(This is Umpires and dIRECTORS SAFETY decision! Any repeat violations by team/players = Captain and player REMOVAL FROM LEAGUE

3. THERE WILL BE NO CAPTAINS AGREEMENTS REAGARDING BATS!!!!

THERE IS AN EXCEPTION FOR SENIOR BATS FOR PLAYERS OVER THE AGE OF 50.
